We have lots of works arriving all the time and more exhibitions in August and September.
I'm celebrating Seaview Art Gallery's 8th year of trading this year !!! Plus I've been working in Seaview for over 10 Years now !!! Where did the time go?? Still loving every minute and that's down to your support as customers and friends and the amazing work created by my terrific artists. Thank you all. I'll be raising a glass to all of you...xx
Have a chat to this years Featured Artists in the 2023 Regatta Exhibition - Coastal Heaven
- Shane Couch is the master of beautiful super real waves and the J Class. It's great to have him back in the Regatta exhibition. One of his new pieces is the advert at the top of the page.
- Andrew Hird captures magical local scenes and memory pieces to take home. He also creates further afield views from Venice and the South of France.
- Angela Sowden gives you the big skies and open spaces around the Islands coast. Feel the freedom of the salty breeze in your hair and damp sand and water between your toes.
- Caroline Ratcliffe works in Tinted Resin capturing water and shorelines with a pouring technique. She also adds local pebbles, shells and sand for extra texture and realism. A difficult medium to work in, she has developed her skills to be able to create large pieces which look amazing as a focal point for a room.
All are well known for their respective styles and subjects, and have become favourites in the Gallery by your choice to purchase a special piece of art by them and by your wonderful comments when visiting us.
I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone for voting for us in the Finals of the Muddy Stilettos Awards for Best Art Gallery. We didn't win this year but we are very grateful for you getting us to the final in '23 and let's face it we held the crown from 2019 to 2022 inclusive AND there's always next year ; ) xx
Hope to see you on the 12th Aug.. : )
