Bethany Moore

Bethany Moore is a visual artist motivated by natural elements and the act of quietly observing them. She paints and draws to spark curiosity and encourage connection with the natural world, both for herself and the viewer.

She works from a combination of photographs and life to observe and re-create pattern, light and texture from land and sea. Magnifying tiny moments of natural beauty to let the viewer pause and contemplate how timeless, complex, and essential nature is.

Bethany has a BA (Hons) English with Fine Art from the Chichester Institute of Higher Education and a Certificate in Botanical Illustration from RBGE. She loves to teach traditional observational drawing techniques and runs popular classes in her home town of Cowes.

Bethany also takes commissions and her artwork hangs in private collections in the Netherlands, USA, Caribbean and the UK.
