'Coastline and Weather' - Mini NAPA Exhibition

Sat May 27th - Sat June 10th inc.

'Coastline and Weather' is an exhibition by Seaview Art gallery's NAPA members

Lisa Traxler RWS NAPA

Fiona Moatt NAPA

Charlotte Hodge Thomas NAPA

Suzanne Whitmarsh NAPA

with special guest artist - past NAPA Director - Paul Geraghty NAPA

All these artists and any artists in the National Acrylic Painters Association have to attain and keep a high level of excellence regarding their works created to stay in the Association. Works are chosen each year by the Association to be shown in NAPA's big members only exhibition which has taken place in many places in Britain but predominantly in St. Ives, Cornwall.

This exhibition celebrates our local talented members of the Society and welcomes Paul Geraghty as a special guest exhibitor. All these artists very much have their own styles and approaches....

- Lisa's almost geometric approach is softened with sweeps of colour in greys and greens, bringing the coast, cliff and skies together in a mix of rich colour and impactful shape and form.

- Fiona's sparkling seas and atmospheric skies make the shoulders go down and nature back in. Stand and stare a while with her...

- Charlotte's zingy colourful, detailed, breathtaking pieces make you feel like you're in the painting with the summer breeze lifting your hair and caressing your skin.

- Suzanne's pared down stripey subtle approach is all about shape and block colouring. Giving form and creating restful emotive reaction without details.

- Paul's naturalistic detail and stunning light observation coupled with his cloud-smith talent for unlocking the heavens makes for some awesome sky and beachscapes.

All live well together on the Gallery walls. All artists work can be found on their own pages on this website - just click on their names on the left of the Home page. If you live nearby or are visiting please feel free to call in to view in person. Opening hours are on the Website Contact Tab - see top of Home page.
