Richard Callingham
Started drawing at school when I was 8. In the late 60’s I was lucky enough to meet Norman Wilkinson, the great 20th Century marine artist. He influenced me greatly, as I loved his style and traditional technique with watercolours. I use a palette very similar to his, though of course over the years one’s style and palette change as you find your own preferences.
I took up watercolour painting full time nearly 20 years ago.
